QwickACCESS (“QA”) provides secure, proximity badge user access to Windows ® and Linux ® based operating systems and to Virtual Desktop systems such as VMware View ® , Citrix ® XenAPP ® , or XenDesktop ® , or Microsoft ® RDC. There are no infrastructure changes needed; it does not require its own dedicated sign-on server, and one install supports all VDI’s. It increases staff productivity by eliminating time wasted on entering usernames and passwords multiple times a day, and strengthens security with HealthCast’s unique proximity badge features. It also enhances user compliance with organization policies to lock their session for data privacy to comply with security regulations (e.g. HIPAA, PCI).

QwickACCESS to Windows or Linux end points is very easy to install. It is a non-invasive software solution that requires no dedicated single sign-on server. For smaller deployments, its server component can be hosted from a single computer that can also contain the QA client software. It requires minimal skills to implement and manage, and provides secure, fast access to Windows and Linux-based systems. Users typically enter their login credentials once per day, saving plenty of time. Staff can access their unique desktop from any QA-enabled computer with a simple tap of their badge, and log-out without losing any data, securing their session with another simple badge tap.

Another strong security feature offered by QwickACCESS is automatically securing a session if the user forgets to log out. After a pre-determined amount of time, QwickACCESS will secure and save the session before automatically logging that user out in case that user forgets to log off.  QwickACCESS technology will help cut costs in the IT department, increase productivity of staff, and provide extra security to clinicians and other staff members so they can focus on what’s important.

featured success story Delhaize Le Lion/De Leeuw stores

Delhaize Le Lion/De Leeuw stores increase security and improve employee efficiency with HealthCast’s QwickACCESS.

Ahold Delhaize deploys computers in each store for their employees to use, so they can look up information about products, inventory, etc. However, one of the challenges Ahold Delhaize was facing was customers were able to access those computers and use them for personal reasons, which was a big security concern. Ahold Delhaize wanted only their employees to be able to utilize the computers, and wanted a simple way of allowing them to do so. They also wanted to eliminate the login step to increase efficiency and productivity, and HealthCast had the perfect solution.
