Software Engineer - Application Integration

HealthCast’s innovative approaches to application integration are unique in the market and a key component of our enterprise single sign-on solution, eXactACCESS. HealthCast has successfully integrated any application that our clients have selected to use with the eXactACCESS product. The team is focused on working closely with clients and application vendors to design and engineer innovative technology to quickly and securely connect clinical users to the applications they need to access.

This is an excellent opportunity to share your experience and learn new skills, to help develop the next generation of application integration approaches, and to improve patient care by giving providers more time to spend with their patients. Application integration engineers are responsible for integrating a wide variety of applications into the eXactACCESS solution in a variety of customer environments, including VDI environments. They work directly with our clients to develop, test and deploy software connectors with functions that include initial sign-on, graceful logoff and advanced workflow within the application. This position will also have opportunities to work with key EMR vendors’ authentication interfaces to support secondary authentication, specifically for ordering controlled substances.

Desired Skills and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, CIS, or related field.
• Experience with Visual Basic, VB.Net, and C# is desired
• Experience with C++, Delphi or Java a plus
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows API and messaging system
• Working knowledge of Microsoft COM technologies
• Foundational knowledge of Windows applications and operating system  
• Working knowledge of SAML and other web based authentication protocols is a plus|
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory is a plus
• High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, and a team.

Project Coordinator

Coordinate project kickoff, enter & maintain client information including contacts, requirements, and implementation details.  Create and maintain detailed documentation of the implementation process, record client support, update FAQ’s and templates.  Assist in project plan preparation, delivery timeframes and functional application integration requirements and workflows.   Report and escalate key deliverables and milestones.  Develop the skills to lead smaller projects.

Technical Project ManagerPlan, guide and execute successful implementation of HealthCast solutions with teams of all disciplines, our clients and partners.  Perform analysis, gather requirements and manage scope, integration and deployment. Our project managers ensure that all implementations are successful by meeting or exceeding both client and company expectations within scope, timeframe and agreed-upon cost.

Software Developer

Contribute to our experienced software development team. The right candidates are quality and security-focused innovators ready to add their expertise to a strong, dynamic software development team. HealthCast developers work independently, in engineering teams and cross functional teams to create and improve our products.

Software Systems Engineer

Provide technical support to and problem solving customer product implementations, remotely and at the customer site.  Assist the sales team through engineering support the may include prospective customers, prospect pilots/proofs of concept and contributing to the responses submitted for various requests for proposals.
